Cognito Agora builds constitutional enforcement infrastructure for autonomous AI.
When every other light turns gray, look for the green.
Agentic AI is moving from answering questions to doing real work — drafting filings, moving money, taking action. Cognito Agora builds the AI governance layer that decides when that work has earned the right to be trusted.
OUR STORY
Why Cognito Agora Exists
I started Cognito Agora out of a simple frustration: AI could sound right, move fast, and still be wrong. It could drift from the original question, contradict itself across sessions, forget prior context, or give two different users two different answers to the same important issue. In high-stakes environments, that is not a convenience problem. It is an operational risk.
I spent my career enforcing quality where being wrong is not an option — aircraft armament systems in the Air Force, defense programs for the Department of Defense and DCMA, and program quality engineering at General Dynamics. When I looked at AI, that enforcement layer simply did not exist. So I built it.
Core UNUM was built to solve that gap. Instead of treating AI output as automatic truth, Core UNUM treats every important answer as a claim that must earn release. It checks the answer against evidence, looks for contradiction and drift, routes higher-risk claims through independent verification, preserves proof, and holds what cannot be verified.
We are building the infrastructure for the next stage of AI: systems that do not just answer questions, but can be governed and audited well enough to support real work.

THE PROBLEM
Confident isn’t the same as correct.
Large language models hallucinate, drift, and contradict their own earlier answers — and they hand you the result with no proof of why it should be trusted. AI hallucination has already put fabricated citations in front of real judges, and the lawyers who filed them were sanctioned. Today, teams accept too many outputs because they sound confident, not because anyone independently verified them.
THE SOLUTION
Core UNUM verifies AI output before it becomes operational truth.
Core UNUM sits between AI systems and real-world use. Confidence is not clearance. Every output must earn release — going out with a proof receipt, or being held, corrected, restored, or rolled back. Not a chatbot. Not a model. The enforcement infrastructure around AI that decides whether an answer is ready to be trusted.
HOW IT WORKS
01 Claim
Your AI drafts an answer or action, and Core UNUM receives it as a governed claim, not automatic truth.
02 Verify
Source authority and evidence are checked, then higher-risk claims go to independent verification by Verifier Node A and Verifier Node B.
03 Decide
Drift and contradiction are checked, then the UNUM Release Gate returns GREEN, or HOLD with the reason release was not earned.
04 Preserve
Verified answers are preserved in the Green Vault with a proof receipt, so the next team reuses proof instead of regenerating.
05 Reverse
The UNUM Restoration Engine rolls a bad release back to a prior known-good state with proof. Controlled reversal, not improvised repair.
If Core UNUM can prove it, it releases it. If it cannot prove it, it holds it and explains why.
PROOF LAYER
Proof, not promises.
Proof receipts
See exactly why an answer was released or held.
Green Vault
Verified outcomes preserved for consistent, trusted reuse.
Independent verification
Higher-risk claims are checked by independent verifiers.
Audit trail & restoration
Full traceability, audit readiness, and the ability to reverse a released result.

ANU
ANU sees what is coming — and proves whether it was right. Environmental, energy, and hazard intelligence with early warning, response planning, and outcome verification. It reads live authority sources including the National Weather Service, USGS, and NASA EONET, records every forecast in a forecast truth ledger, then scores it against what actually happened. Core UNUM governs. ANU foresees.
• Pulls live from the National Weather Service, USGS, NASA, and Open-Meteo — and cross-checks them against each other
• Maps the impact zone: what is actually in the path, not just where the storm is
• Projects likely damage so you can decide before it arrives
• Regional risk profiles tuned to where you actually live
• Keeps a scored record of its own past forecasts, so you know exactly how much to trust it
• Serious warnings pass through Core UNUM’s verification before they ever reach you

Flagship
Core UNUM
Core UNUM verifies AI output before anyone relies on it — the enforcement layer that verifies, governs, and proves AI output before it is trusted or acted on.
• Every claim is examined by two independent verifiers that work separately — neither can rubber-stamp the other
• Facts are checked against the actual source of record, not the model’s memory
• Returns GREEN when release is earned, or HOLD with the specific reason it wasn’t
• Each released answer carries a proof receipt — sources, verifier signatures, timestamp — that an auditor can follow
• Verified answers are preserved and reused, so the same question never gets re-guessed
• A bad release can be rolled back to a known-good state, with proof

The Ops Detector
Real-time intrusion detection for macOS, with a read-only iPhone companion that surfaces your Mac's security posture at a glance.
• Scam protection for the people scammers target most. Forward any suspicious text, email, or link and get a straight answer on whether it’s a scam — before you reply, click, or send money
• Blocks the fake “your computer is infected, click here to fix it” popups designed to trick people into installing the attack themselves
• Photographs whoever tries to log into your Mac and keeps it as evidence
• Watches for ransomware locking your files and password stealers taking your logins
• Shows you every app phoning home and every device on your network
• Tells you whether your backups would actually save you
• Explains what happened in plain language — the whole story, not a cryptic alert code
• Check on your Mac from your iPhone anywhere; the phone is read-only, so it can never be turned against you

WHO WE SERVE
Built for work where being wrong is expensive.
01
Enterprise AI Teams
Scale copilots and agents across the organization without re-checking every output by hand.
Also built for AI platform companies, healthcare and safety-critical systems, and any team facing AI compliance, AI audit, or AI risk review.
02
Regulated Industries
Show an auditor why any AI-assisted decision was released — the evidence, the checks, and the record.
03
Legal Teams
Answers grounded in your own matters — citations checked against real authority before release, or the answer is held.
04
Government & Defense
in high-stakes operations where every release carries a proof receipt and every hold is logged.
Common questions
What is Core UNUM, exactly?
Enforcement infrastructure that sits between an AI system and real-world use. Nothing reaches a person or a downstream system until it has earned release — with a proof receipt attached, or a hold on the record.
Is it a model or a chatbot?
Neither. Core UNUM wraps around your existing AI. It does not generate answers; it decides whether an answer has earned release, reuse, or action.
How does it decide what to trust?
It checks each claim against evidence, weighs source authority, routes higher-risk claims through independent verifiers, and blocks unsupported answers.
What do we get back for each answer?
A proof receipt showing why an output was released or held, plus a durable record in the Green Vault for verified reuse.
Can unsafe results be reversed?
Yes. An output that has already been released can be corrected, restored, or rolled back, and every change is recorded in the audit trail, so an unsafe output does not stay in force.
